Ardennais Breed Standards
The Ardennais is a draft breed with a heavy head and with a broad face.
Their body type is broad and muscular with a short back and heavily feathered fetlocks.
Within the breed are roan and bay the most common colours, however, Bay, Roan, Chestnut,Iron Gray,Dark/Liver Chestnut and palomino are accepted.
Black is very rare, and not accepted within the registry. Their white markings are usually small, a star or blaze.
Because of all those new, amazing sliders, I am working on an update for the Ardennais Template.
You can find the breed template on our downloads page.
Whenever we cannot access the information about a horse (their online profile page) there will be send a reminder to do so,
if it remains impossible for us to look at the information/profile the horse will be assumed dead.
I am currently not handing out certificates, I simply do not have the time. Note that there 2 registration certificate's around, the older version in green/white and the new version in black/white. Both are a legit way
to show that your horse is registered.
